Type of Employment: One Year Contract Position subject to on funding availability and performance.
Salary scale and range: As highlighted in the employment contract in line with Technical Specialist grade at FRT
Position Location FRT National Offices (Lilongwe) with periodic field travel
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is aimed at contributing towards achievement of the FRT vision of information for sustainable livelihoods through dissemination of sound, evidence-based and scientifically proven agricultural technologies and services in all fields of agriculture. The project officer shall lead the Implementation of projects to ensure high programmatic, technical and operational standards. He/she will ensure close coordination and collaboration with the relevant departments within FRT and other partners and act as liaison with project process stakeholders.

General: The job requires offering sound and prompt solutions pertaining to radio production team in an efficient and effective manner.
Technical: The job requires sound aptitude in computer skills, multitasking, content analysis

Internally: The position requires working with other radio production officers and content experts,
Externally: The position requires sound relationship and contact with knowledge partners and other stakeholders at technical level especially in value chain issues.
