Continental Asset Management Limited (CAM) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Continental Holdings Limited. We are licensed portfolio managers and investment advisors under the Financial Services Act and Securities Act. We are regulated by the Reserve Bank of Malawi.

Position: OPERATIONS OFFICER

CAM is seeking a mature, dynamic, flexible and highly motivated individual with special interest in the financial services industry to fill the position of Operations Officer. The Operations Officer will be responsible for the daily transaction processing and reporting to ensure smooth running of the operations of CAM.

Summary of key responsibilities

• • Processing of customer transactions.
  • Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations.
  • Preparation of daily cash reports.
  • Preparation of internal reports.
  • Ensuring KYC compliance for new and existing clients.
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly compliance reports.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

  Qualifications and person specifications

  • • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Business Management, or any related field from a recognized institution.
    • Minimum of two years working experience.
    • Attention to detail, problem analysis and problem solving skills.
    • Be self-starter, effective team player and demonstrated verifiable result oriented track record.
    • Excellent planning and self-organization skills to be able to plan and organize work at operational level to deliver work to agreed timescales and standards.
