ROLE PURPOSE
- The purpose of this position is to provide and promote excellent health care to all employees of (Paladin) Africa Limited
Specifically the site Medical Doctor will;
- Assess and manage emergency and non emergency patients competently and timely
- Perform basic procedures
- Referring patients to specialists clinic where necessary
- Proper registration and follow up of patients
- Taking history and collecting physical examinations
- Perform medical check ups
- Conducting employees health talks
- Consulting appropriate specialists on the management of patients where necessary
- Conducting hygiene inspections for the food handling areas (kitchen and mess)
- Maintaining proper documentation of relevant and all personal files
- Non-disclosure of confidential information
- Review and input to PAL’s medical emergency response plan
- Adhere to PAL’s existing policies and procedures
- Assist compliance of applicable laws and regulations
- Acting in ethical processional manner
- Registration of site clinic with medical council of Malawi and MASM
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- MBBS from a recognized institution with at least 4 years practical work experience
- This position is suitable for highly qualified medical doctors
- Previous experience in production industries is an added advantage
