Job Description

Post : Systems Analyst/Programmer (Grade I)
Salary: Within the Grade I salary scale segment
Location : Various Ministries and Departments

Qualifications
Applicants should be either serving Senior Data Preparation Officers/Senior Programmers (Grade J) with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in those posts or non-serving/ serving in possession of a Bachelor of Science in any ICT related field obtained from accredited institutions.

Duties
Analyse, design and implement systems; test and evaluate new and existing systems; supervise senior Programmers; implement Government ICT and security policies; provide technical and user support, etc.

Note:
Documentary evidence of major requirements specified in the advertisement shall be needed during interviews. Serving officers will also be required to demonstrate during the interviews that they are permanent and pensionable officers in the Civil Service by producing letters of confirmation in appointment in addition to letters of appointment (PSR 19).
