    Newborn Essential Technologies and Solutions (NEST360) is a global consortium committed to ensuring that every hospital in Africa can deliver life-saving care for small and sick newborns. NEST360° aims to reduce 50% of newborn deaths in hospitals by developing and distributing a bundle of high-quality technologies and services for newborns.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Reporting directly to the Engineering Training and Maintenance Manager

    • Assist in tracking, maintenance and repair of project equipment in implementation sites

    • Assist in tracking project equipment status, including maintenance and repair history

    • Assist in coordinating, planning and conducting equipment installation and user training

    • Perform weekly event calls to implementation sites to ensure implementation is taking place

    • With the help of the Engineering manager, analyze event log data and plan for implementation of identified modifications

    • Create an excellent working relationship with medical and technical staff in implementation sites

    • Assist in tracking project inventory

    • Assist in compiling technical reports

    • Any other duties as assigned by Project managers

    Required Qualification/Skills

    • Diploma or BSc in Biomedical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

    • Excellent in Microsoft office package, AutoCAD and Solid works

    • Good oral and written English communication skills

    • Comfortable working in a hospital Environment

    • At least one year of experience working in a related field
