Newborn Essential Technologies and Solutions (NEST360) is a global consortium committed to ensuring that every hospital in Africa can deliver life-saving care for small and sick newborns. NEST360° aims to reduce 50% of newborn deaths in hospitals by developing and distributing a bundle of high-quality technologies and services for newborns.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Engineering Training and Maintenance Manager
Assist in tracking, maintenance and repair of project equipment in implementation sites
Assist in tracking project equipment status, including maintenance and repair history
Assist in coordinating, planning and conducting equipment installation and user training
Perform weekly event calls to implementation sites to ensure implementation is taking place
With the help of the Engineering manager, analyze event log data and plan for implementation of identified modifications
Create an excellent working relationship with medical and technical staff in implementation sites
Assist in tracking project inventory
Assist in compiling technical reports
Any other duties as assigned by Project managers
Required Qualification/Skills
Diploma or BSc in Biomedical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
Excellent in Microsoft office package, AutoCAD and Solid works
Good oral and written English communication skills
Comfortable working in a hospital Environment
At least one year of experience working in a related field
