    Job Description

    Panning, directing and coordinating human resource management activities for the respective country business

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Plans, directs, supervises, and interprets human resources policies and procedures for the respective country business
    2. Implements staff training programmes in the respective country in accordance with the defined guidelines
    3. Administers staff benefit schemes including Group Medical, Group Pension and Group Life Insurance
    4. Ingrain the performance management culture in the country businesses by embedding the balanced scorecard.
    5. Manages employee welfare issues in the respective country
    6. Develop and implement effective retention plans for key resources
    7. Conducts exit interviews to identify reasons for employee separation from the company.
    8. Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives
    9. Enhancing the right culture and creating ownership of the organisation’s values, vision and mission and driving change in line with business goals
    10. Ensures the maintenance of up-to-date personnel records and statistics. P
    11. Prepares monthly reports
    12.  Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

    Working Relationships

    Internal Relationships:
    • Accountable to the Country CEO
    • Directly responsible for staff working under this position
    • Required to liaise and work closely with the other business heads as may be necessary

    External Relationships:
    • Labour Law organisations
    • Unions

    Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications Required

    1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Social Sciences, or related field. A Master’s degree in the same fields will be an added advantage
    2. Post graduate diploma in HR
    3. 7-10 years’ experience in a similar position 3-4 of which should be in a managerial position
