1. The clinical officer
   The clinical officer will be responsible for provision of clinical services at the clinic

• Patient assessment and management of signs and symptoms
• Interpretation of basic laboratory and radiological test
• Ensuring timely referrals of patient cases that need specialized care
• Ensuring accurate patient records and registers
• Report writing
• Must ensure good standards for quality, customer service, health and safety

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Clinical Medicine from a recognized instituition
• Registered with the Medical Council of Malawi
• Must be of sober mind with good standing with the medical council
• Adequate ART Training and up to date knowledge
• Minimum of 2 years prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting
• Those with experiences in reproductive health will be preferred
• Must be a self-starter with ability to work under minimal supervision
• Good communication skills in booth English and Chichewa
• Must be a reliable team player with good problem solving skills
• Must be proficient in the use of computers and IT packages including word and excel

2.Nurse Technician

Location-central region

Description

The Nurse Technician will be responsible for the support of provision of nursing services at the clinic

• Providing nursing care to both peadiatric and adult patients
• Preparing and dispensing non-prescription and prescription medicines
• Conducting skilled nursing procedures such as administering intravenous fluids and other injectable, wound dressing and general patient care.
• Identify and support walk in patients and make recommended referrals
• Knowledge and skills in sexual and reproductive health services
• Provide patient counseling and treatment guidance
• Assist in providing coordinated activities with relevant authorities
• Report on patients physical status and management stages
• Ensure that protocols are adhered to

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have at least Diploma in nursing from a recognized training Institution
• Registered with the Nurses Council of Malawi
• At least 2 years work experience in a busy environment
• Adequate knowledge in current guidelines as well as peadiatric care
• Knowledge of clinical protocols
• Flexible to work in a fast growing/changing environment
• Excellent communication skills
