The Gender and Justice Unit (GJU) is a non-governmental organization that hones in on legal empowerment as one of the most powerful catalysts of gender equality and social justice. Thus, The GJU utilizes the law as a tool for gender equality and social justice through; strategic litigation, legal research, mobilization through strategic partnerships and strengthening access to justice through pro bono legal representation, research and advocacy
As a result of the expansion of its operations, GJU is inviting applications from qualified candidate to fill the position of Finance and Administration Intern at its office in Area 3, Lilongwe.
The intern will be expected to maintain a financially sound administration of GJU.

KEY COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently with minimum or no supervision.
Ability to meet deadlines and targets in a high pressure setting.
Excellent analytical skills.
Computer skills on Word, Quick books, Excel Spreadsheets
Integrity and trust required in complying with controls and ensuring responsibilities are correctly discharged.
