New Beginnings Malawi is a local organization in Lilongwe that supports expectant girls, young mothers and adolescent girls in difficult and abusive situations. As a growing organization, we are looking for passionate individuals who understand what it means to work with a startup and are willing to support the growth of the organization.

Applicants MUST not be more than 35 years old for all positions.

Position: Communications and Administrative Officer 
Roles and responsibilities

• Develop and support our internal and external communications strategy.
• Respond to inquiries from the public&Media.
• Use writing and photography skills to create engaging stories and posts to reach diverse audiences.
• Develop, review, and improve our administrative systems,policies&procedures.
• Collect, organize and store company information using filing systems.

Requirements

• The successful candidate must be a creative with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Those with videography skills as well as experience with office management software like MS Office will have an added advantage.
• An Advanced Diploma in Media and Communications or equivalent and a minimum of 18 months experience in a similar communications role is a must.
• Solid knowledge with experience of office administration is required.
