RTC -Malawi in collaboration with PSI will be implementing VMMC project in two districts of Mulanje and Phalombe Districts in the southern region.
RTC-Malawi seek to fill the following open positions on a 36 months fixed term contract and to be based at our Blantyre Offices.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
§ Improve VMMC and HIV/AIDS related outcomes by strengthening health and patient management systems at facility and sub-district levels in line with key MOH strategies and guidelines Programme Management
§ Analyse VMMC practice performance gaps and effects to improve performance.
§ Monitor quality compliance standard as per VMMC Malawi guidelines
§ Improve the quality of VMMC through use of continuous quality improvement approaches
§ Provide technical leadership and programme oversight in area of VMMC service provision and assurance and quality improvement
§ Provide mentorship and capacity building of individual and district teams
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
§ Relevant nursing degree or MBBCH degree (or equivalent Minimum 5 years’ experience in public health and HIV management
§ Minimum 5 years’ experience in public health and HIV management
§ Registered with the Malawi medical or Nurses councils
§ Relevant nursing diploma/degree or MBBCH degree (or equivalent) with experience of QI at district level and in VMMC as a plus
§ Certification in Quality improvement management.
§ Sound technical knowledge of VMMC-HIV integration.
§ Knowledge of national and provincial health structures and national quality issues in VMMV and guidelines in VMMC.
§ Experience working in a donor funded organization/NGO or project-based environment.
§ Knowledge of clinical systems and data management.
